In the village of Täuffelen on the shores of Lake Biel, there is a screw-cutting company is located a screw-cutting company unlike any other: Laubscher Laubscher Präzision. This company was founded in 1846 and is still active today. It specialises in the production of complex, high-precision parts and has recently acquired recently purchased Tornos machines to help them achieve their goals.

Partnership - CAAJ & Tornos

The CAAJ (Centre d’Apprentissage de l’Arc Jurassien) was founded in 2012 to meet the high demand for training personnel in technical professions. At the beginning of the project, nine apprenticeship employers from the Swiss Jura Mountains intended to offer so-called dual training for young people from the region.
